Adrián San Miguel del Castillo

Got some stick at the start of the season, maybe slightly unjust, but is now looking a proper Premier League keeper. Only been no.1 for a year too, long may the solid improvement continue, SON.

Been mostly good but last night when he lingered too long before picking up the ball, could have cost him and us
Cut it out

Two extremely good and vital saves.
No idea what he was doing waiting to pick that ball up so long though.

Waste time and wind the oppo forwards up?

Moronic behaviour. Those extra 2 seconds he saved us made fuck all difference and put us in a potentially ridiculous situation.
Still not convinced

I have never known a goalkeeper to have so many shots hit straight at him.
I don't buy into him having great positioning, he made a good save at his near post but apart from that everything was straight at him, not a moan just an observation.

Although he has played a bit better in recent weeks I am still not convinced about him.I would prefer a stronger keeper that commands his box more dominantly. He flaps at crosses too much for my liking. If I was manager I would definitely be looking for an upgrade.

he's a flapper, I would prefer a more dominant calming presence.

He needs to work on his catching a little bit. Amazing how he makes all these great saves with his feet. Quite funny really.

He doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, when coming out for crosses, but he is a great shot stopper.

He can use any part of his body as long as keeps the ball out of the net. A good, steady Goalkeeper

Well yeah, but he left it a bit too long and could have ended up featuring on blooper reels for the rest of eternity. I'm all for wasting time and winding the oppo up, but that was just a bit too close for my liking!
I do like that he seems to relish winding up oppo strikers.

I love him... But he doesn't fill me with confidence.
Not a fan of leaving it THAT late to pick up the ball... Allardyce must have warned him after last night.
Very good shot stopper and i love his PASSION.

I'd prefer Pantilimon or Guzan.
Both of which may be available at the end of the season if their team drops.

Petr Cech? Not 100% sure we could afford him.

Gets the job done, but doesn't feel me with confidence.
Not our top priority I wouldn't have said.

Bobby Mimms appears to have done a good job on him since his Burnley cockup.
Jury remains locked.

I was about to mention Mimms. Good keeper with tons of experience who will be very good for Adrian, who is young and showing signs of gradual improvement all the time. He is deeply in love with the club, and working hard on his game, so I have a lot of time and patience for him. And why not, when we are winning so much, and he has been making good saves and not been to blame for any/many of our goals against?
